The cocktail girls first night together for 2008  kicked off at karyn’s .

Singapore slings and sparkling gold were the order of the day and a fine time was had by all .

No embarrasing photos this time but wednesdays pamper evening could throw a spanner in the works … look out girls !!!!!

Fati and Dan visit for Cocktails part 1 and part 2 March 7, 2007

Here we are on Sunday at Part 2 sporting the latest fashion looks direct from St Ives. This is what Hazel tells us everyone is wearing in St Ives.

Thank you so much for the goody bag, Hazel. It really made both evenings. It was great to see Fati and Dan even if you had to keep your distance so as to not to catch the horrible Flu bug they arrived with that spoilt Friday night for them.

We all had a great evening. Back to old times under the saucepans.

 

Hazel excelled herself organising the bar. Not just strawberry daiquiri’s but Corky’s white chocolate vodka liqueur. A real treat.

 

We were happy to enjoy the boys company even if Todd didin’t manage a hair cut in time for the evening. 

 

 

Because it was Fati’s last night, hazel did the honours of presenting her with her Lifetime Cocktail girl  membership card.

The Accidental cocktail November 12, 2006

The evening started with a bang with an innovative special cocktail – basically a mistake really – I read one half of a cocktail recipe, was distracted and then moved on to add the ingredients of another half of a different recipe – but it went down a storm!

A new member had joined us for the evening, Karyn, she couldn’t get enough of the ‘Accident cocktail’ which it became known.

Melanie, who is on the wagon, helped with the difficult procedure of microwave popcorn – perfectly carried out by our Mary Poppins!

Vicki boogied the night away to ‘The Best Millennium Party Ever’ CD with high spirits.

Fati and Anthea joined us to make the night a lovely one. 

We all waited in anticipation of a telephone call from Diana from Spain but were saddened when no ringing was heard. 8:(

Fati swaps Friday to Saturday Night Cocktails November 7, 2006

And she did a great job. Pina Colada and a passion fruity little number for everyone apart from me. Madam Vickie turned up at Fati’s with her fortune cards and was fortune teller for the evening.  She was very good even if the boys (Patrick and Dan) poo pooed it. We took no notice.

She accurately predicted that I am the centre of a lot of gossip at the moment and that Fati was at a crossroads but destiny would ensure she made the correct decision. All positive, not a coffin in sight.

Cocktails are going to be Saturday night. We are still looking for a venue and a hostess. Any offers? 

Get digging out your wardrobes for something nice to wear at St Marys Hall on Tuesday 14th November.  It’s all booked. Hazel and Sean are here that night, staying with me and Hazel is then here on her own for 2 more nights. We are hoping to squeeze a cocktail night in, maybe Thursday… Hazel has offered to be hostess probably at my house.

Looking Forward to seeing them both. Should be a good night and a lovely couple of days. xxx

Another successful evening.. October 30, 2006

hello all.

Yes another successful evening, if a little sedate due to obvious reasons. it was lovely to hear from both Diana and Hazel during the course of the evening, on route to Germany and Alton Towers respectively. The cocktails were excellent and all credit must go to Vickie for a wonderful elderflower, vodka and mint refreshing number and a sweeter martini, vodka, strawberry and mint spritzer.

i think Vickie must of been up to her tricks again with her own measures as she had the worst hangover..

Vickie, Carmen, Fati and Caroline blessed us with their presence and apologies from Emma ( on the mainland), Barbara ( she didn’t get message soon enough. Another cocktail disaster for her) and Rebecca. We enjoyed cocktails at mine before heading to Mermaid. Vickie, Fati and me made it down to the last disco of the season…. till next week anyway…

Any suggestions for next week? we even need to squeeze a few Saturdays in so Karyn Jakes can come along and Carmen can make it out a few more times during the winter.

Any news from tania? Where are you honey? We need an update so i can keep everyone posted. Hope you are having fun.

Just a quickie to say cocktail night is friday at my house. That’s 5 Sallyport in case anyone gets lost, Just ask a policeman.

Vickie has agreed to help with the cocktails. I am worried about who will organise the kitty in the absence of Diana… your suggestions? Your nomintaions?
